David Hamilton

David is Executive Director of Engagement, Marketing and Communications at the British Film Institute, where he leads marketing, press, brand and corporate communications to grow audiences and public engagement with film and screen culture. He previously sat on the executive board of the NSPCC, leading major UK-wide campaigns across broadcast, digital and media for national services including Childline. Before that, he was an executive at Scouts, where he led an award-winning brand transformation that drove record levels of engagement. David is a former Chair of the PR and Communications Council, a Chartered Fellow of the CIPR, and a Fellow of the PRCA.
